Your Paddle Boarding Adventure Checklist

1) Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
Safety First! Always wear one when paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, sailing or any other activity where there is a risk of falling in the water. It can also be used as a cushion for those times when waves knock us over unexpectedly!
2) First Aid Kit
It's a good idea to bring a first aid kit with you while SUPing. It's also a good idea to have at least six feet of distance between your board and anybody else on the water.
3) Whistle
It is important to bring a whistle while SUPing because it can be used as an emergency signal. A whistles sound travels over water and will alert any people nearby that you need help, or want someone to come closer.
4) Sunscreen
SUPing is an excellent way to stay fit and have fun. It's also a good way to get some sun exposure, but not if you neglect sunscreen! A few minutes in the sun without it can result in painful burns and blistering. BRING SUNSCREEN!
5) Sunglasses
Safety First! Always wear one when paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, sailing or any other activity where there is a risk of falling in the water. It can also be used as a cushion for those times when waves knock us over unexpectedly!
6) Dry Bag
Keep your gear, electronics, and snacks safe and ready for use on your next adventure.
7) Snacks
Paddling is a workout. You WILL get hungry. Bring some healthy snacks along in your dry bag!
